Trivia Nights

2007

On the 31st August 2007, there were 13 teams fighting out for those lovely hampers at the Trivia night. This year we had the privilege of using Melbourne Trivia Company once again who made the night enjoyable and entertaining. The magnificant 7's were the team that won and it was only by a few points. All enjoyed the night and with food, drinks and questions all round, who wouldn't? We look forward to hosting next years Trivia night!

2006

The trivia night this year was held at an external location due to the renovations at the club.  We were at St. Stephens hall for the night.  The night didn't start off well with sound problems but the night soon got underway with many people with their thinking hats on.  A few games during the rounds were enjoyed by all and the food as usual was yummy!  As always we had a great range of raffle prizes including a DVD, Rydges Accommodation Voucher and Meal Voucher, Wine, Cookbooks, Toscana Club Hats and more!  In the end it was table Number 9 that won the night by one point and how thrilled they were to win!  Thank you to our hosts Flying Bookworms as well as our sponsors and all who participated in the night.  Hope to see you next year!

2004

After countless months of preparation, the Trivia night went ahead in June. The competition was fierce, sixteen teams of ten people battled it out, using intelligence and wit to outsmart the other teams. Thanks to the hard work of the Girasoli in securing donations from sponsors, many spot prizes were awarded throughout the night. The games organised by the Quiz Master brought numerous smiles and laughter to the 150 plus players. Overall a extremely enjoyable event, with participants questioning at the end of the night when the next Girasoli trivia night will be held!

2003

The Trivia night in August was again a huge success with over eighty participants. Trivia Night Fever led the evening, which was full of games, and lots of laughs as we re-lived the 80’s, played musical chairs, the limbo and competed against each other in push–up competitions. The competition was fierce and the end results close, with the Magnanini/Dinelli table coming out in first place to win their hampers of Italian goodies.
