World Cup 2006
On the 22nd June 2006, Italy had their final group match against the Czech Republic. All gathered at the Reggio Calabria Club looking forward to a great night and hopefully a win for Italy! Just under 40 people turned up to watch the game, most wearing the Italian colours! Kick off was at midnight and thats when all the food came out! Four pizzas and a big plate of spring rolls, dim sims etc kept everyone content throughout the match! Italy won 2-0 and how great the atmosphere was with everyone cheering when they scored the goals A raffle was the half time entertainment where a DVD and bottles of wine with the Toscana Club wine glasses were the prizes.
Thank you to all that came to cheer Italy on, it was a great night!
It was great to see the champions of the World Cup in action!
