2007

I Girasoli had the honour on the 11th March 2007 of hosting this wonderful event full of catchy tunes and Tuscan culture! Riccardo Tesi (one of the leading highlights of folk music in Italy being a composer and playing the Accordion), Maurizio Geri (Guitar), Claudio Carboni (Saxaphone) and Ettore Bonafè (Percussion) played many folk and jazz songs from all their albums. The way they played their music made the whole audience tap their feet or clap their hands with the rhythm!

We were honoured to have as our guests the Console General, Members of Parliament, La Voce della Luna Women's Choir as well as many other enthusiastic people!

We would like to thank Banditaliana and Mara Music for the great cooperation and the organisation throughout their stay in Melbourne.
